50 Floating Water Spangles (Salvinia minima) Live Aquarium Plant

The perfect aquarium plant. Salvinia minima or Floating Water Spangles are the perfect choice for aquaraists who dislike frequent water changes. Salvinia minima is a floating plant that grows insanely fast and will suck your nitrates down to 0 very fast. It grows well under lowlight but to take advantage of its insane water filtering properties, you’ll need a half decent light (practically any aquarium light will do, these plants are not picky or difficult at all). 

It’s easy to remove unlike duckweed, and is the hardiest of all of the rest of the floating plants commonly sold. 

if you have lots of surface agitation (multiple air stones, sponge filters, etc) it might be in your best interest to purchase some aquarium rings to prevent the bubbles from disrupting your salvinia. I sell many variations of these rings, please check my other listings.
